'Art & Text: There is no outside text' is an exhibition which brings together young emerging artists who like to explore text in their work. The subtitle 'There is no outside text' is a quote from philosopher Jacques Derrida's book Of Grammatology. Each artist that participates in this exhibition explores their own concerns and themes but can not escape text. Ranging from issues of the hidden, to concepts of communication and the political, art remains within text.
